My Beach Friends

All kinds of pictures of my friends. Of course it's my Mia and me out in front of the water. The others are all of my friends that came down to see me in Duck NC. Don't Mommy and Daddy look happy to be out with me? The sun was setting and everyone had their drinks, good times out in the sun. The weather had not been forecasted to be good and turned out ok, I'll take it.

My Beach Bunny

Daddy remembered to pack the camera and uploading equipment at the beach this time. I haven't taken too many pictures, but I will try to rectify that. My friend Mia and I had fun playing on the beach today. The waves put us both to sleep, fortunately Mia's mommy Angie had brought a pack 'n play down to the beach for us. I did manage to snap this picture with Mommy before I napped. Speaking of naps, Daddy said he'd make some Margaritas later and Mommy promised to share hers with me. Should make for some good napping. More and better pictures later...

My Alexis

Last weekend was partially a daddyless weekend. Mommy packed me up on Saturday morning and drove me up to NoVa. Her friend Jen Krause from college was having a baby shower and I was invited! Apparently Daddy was not invited because he did not go, I think he was sad about it. In fact, he told me the next day that all he did Saturday night was to pine over our absence and that he missed the shower.

Anyway, after the baby shower we went to stay with Mommy's friend Alexis and her family. She had come down from NYC for the shower and invited Mommy to come stay with her since they only get to see each other a couple of times a year. Lots of fun, drinks and girl time! Next week we are going to the beach with M&D's friends and my friend Mia. Hopefully we'll get lots of cute pictures if I can get stupid Daddy to remember the camera this time.

My Supper Club

Mommy and Daddy joined a supper club with some of their couply friends. I went to the first one when I was still in

Mommy's tummy. The second one occurred when I was maybe a month, and then M&D hosted the third one this past Friday. Daddy was the cook, see him above in his cute apron, he cooked veal (and chicken) piccata for 12. Apparently all went well, I know I went to bed, and apparently Mommy went to bed before everyone went home. BTW, looking good Uncle Eliot, coupled with Jonny. The next night M&D decided to take it easy on me. They lit up the chiminea (sp?) and sat outside with me, I was mesmerized by the flames dancing, Mommy says I'm just like my pyro Daddy. Pre-fire, we met Meme and Big G for dinner at Sette. The next night we had Pop and DeeDee over for dinner. Lots of visitors, but like usual, all in all a great weekend to be a baby.

My Moo Cow

I think that I have mentioned before that

my parents seem to delight in dressing me up like various animals. I'm pretty sure that this week reached the point of humiliation. Let's look at the progression here, Mommy seems cute and lovey, wrapping me up after my tubby, and then she goes and foists this upon me. Worst of all, she giggled while snapping this picture of me, and then immediately ran off to email it to all of my closest known associates. Mommy, don't think that I won't remember this when I bring home that boy that I know you don't like in the future!

My Mia

I know that I have written of my friend Mia before, but we got to know each other better this weekend.

See that's her and me in the Pack 'n Play together. We're going to drive the boys crazy one of these days. All of this occurred because friends that I had not met, Dan and Marni, came into town. They used to live to Richmond, but moved to Cincinnati before M&D contracted with the stork to bring me. They flew in on Friday and Daddy picked them up at the airport. Aunt Beth and my cousins looked after me while they all grabbed dinner at Europa. Now unfortunately they flew in from Columbus on Skybus. Mommy used to work for UPS and says that FedEx screws you, well I think that Skybus really screwed them. Their outgoing flight got canceled, and they had to drive back to Columbus to get their car. They took care of me while Daddy and Mommy ran the 10K. But Saturday night, M&D had some of the crew over for pizza and beer. So that's Mia and me, middle is Jamie and me, and then Mia's mommy Angie and Marni. Somehow we didn't get a picture of Dan. I'll try to post more pictures later when people email Daddy ones that he didn't take.
