$68 and about a week and a half later, Daddy finally got his camera back from Turks, so I'm rewinding a bit to post some of my favorites pics and explain them. This first one, it's really not Daddy trying to be seductive on camera, it was about 6.45 AM and poor Daddy was barely awake, see, I'm even still (partially) in my burrito blanket. The next one is me and Miss Terry. Miss Terry came to sit for me the night of Big G's 65th birthday so that all the big people could go out to dinner. She strapped me into the baby bjorn and walked me all around the property. I must have worked up an appetite walking b/c it's been the only time yet that I've eaten two whole containers of green beans. This last one is of my tan M&D suspiciously looking like their enjoying time away from me while I'm with Miss Terry. We can't have that now can we?

My Fast Mommy
This isn't the best picture of me. I'm normally a camera-bug, but I guess I didn't realize that the picture was being taken. Here I am on South Center St in Ashland, VA (which coincidentally is the center of the universe) with Daddy and Uncle Eliot. Aunt Liz was there too, but she was the one taking the picture. We were standing across the street from their house because this was mile point 6.5 in a half marathon that Mommy ran Saturday. She did her best time ever, 1:47.23 which equates to a string of 13.1 miles at an 8:11 pace. Wow. We were there to cheer her on, so that may have helped. The sign is difficult to read in the picture, but I drew it up, it said Go Mommy Go! Aunt Beth was running too (but she was 5 minutes behind Mommy). The other side of the sign said Run Aunt Beth Run! What a nice morning to watch all those crazy people fun entirely too far. Go Mommy Go!

My Absence
I would love to say that my absence was caused by something as lucky as getting stuck in Turks and Caicos for the last week and a half. Unfortunately, it was brought about by something much lamer. Daddy managed to leave the camera in Turks and Caicos. He's been working on getting it back, and they are sending it to him at his expense, but I haven't had any pictures to post, and at seven months, I'm not an interesting enough writer for people to read without pictures. So, while the camera is en route, we have borrowed a couple of pictures from Aunt Beth and Big G to showcase our trip. It was great, lots of good food, lots of nice people and lots of cocktails. Every hour is apparently cocktail hour in T&C. I had some fun spending some time in day care, but M&D would eventually miss me and come pick me up and let me play with them. You can see we did some swimming. By the way, this picture was not an ad for the resort Beaches, but it sure does look like it and despite the angst on my face in the second picture, I did have fun! I'll add more on T&C later, but just coming back to the land of the living now.

My Travel Plan
If you're like me, you probably can't tell what this picture is without someone telling you. That's because the close up resolution on Daddy's camera apparently sucks. But since I know you are in suspense, I'll tell you. This is my own personal passport. That's right, M&D took me to the post office a couple of months ago to get one for me. It's good for five years, but not sure how recognizable I'll be by this picture then. But the reason is that we are headed for a getaway in Turks and Caicos at the family friendly resort Beaches. The whole clan is going for Big G's 65th birthday. That's old, I did the math on that, and he is 130 times my age. Wow! Anyway, we leave early, early on Saturday, be at the airport by 4.15AM early. And we'll be back on Wednesday. I'll try to take lots of pictures, but don't know if I'll have access to post them. So it could be a while before I'm back on again. Oh well, the weather is here, wish you were beautiful!

My End of an Era
This is to commemorate my last wearing of the Moo onesie. On the bottom, you can see my picture from several months ago (nearly a lifetime) of me in the Moo Cow outfit. M&D dressed me in it the other day and I was busting at the seams. Daddy declared that it would be the last time we tried to fit it over my chunky monkey body. I guess M&D will have to find something new to dress me like and animal.
My Wintergreen Weekend 2
M&D had a reunion weekend. When Mommy lived in Charlottesville after college, she bought a house. She had two wonderful roommates who were friends from undergrad, but were in grad school. They used to do everything together, but there has been somewhat of a diaspora. Mommy, of course, lives in Richmond with Daddy. And Jenn Gill married Lampton, and now Gill and Lampton live in Baltimore. Steve married Jenny and is still in Charlottesville as a doctor. Everyone has kids, so we got everyone together at WG this weekend. I never managed to snap a picture with everyone at once, too many moving parts. But the top one shows Daddy, Steve and Jenny (they have a daughter, 18 month old Lilly who's blonde and blue like me!) and Lampton who has Mary Percy, P, who is 2 with red hair and 3 month old Griff. I am picture here sharing my pack and play with Griff. I love to be the big girl. We all had a great time and wine. Thank you Veritas Vineyard. In vino veritas!
